Savlon – the UK’s #1 Antiseptic Cream* – has partnered with Mini First Aid to launch a competition in celebration of World First Aid Day (10 September 2022). The prize includes a lifesaving first aid workshop at children’s sports clubs or organisations, with 10 workshops to be won in total.
Mini First Aid is the UK’s largest specialist Paediatric First Aid training company, having appeared on Dragons' Den and securing investment from Sara Davies MBE. The initiative successfully provides early years with award-winning first aid workshops and training. The classes are certified by The First Aid Industry Body, Association of First Aiders, and the Federation of First Aid Training Organisations, whilst also meeting the 2020 National Curriculum requirements.
Each 60-minute workshop will be hosted by qualified trainers, teaching children key life skills ranging from what happens to their bodies if they are hurt and how they would be treated by a grown up, to understanding basic first aid knowledge required for a first aid emergency.
We welcome entries from across mainland UK, whether it is for a local football, cricket or netball club or Brownies, Cubs or Beavers. If you have an organisation focussed on providing activities for children, this competition is for you.
